Jeffrey Wood Named Senior Vice President of StandardAero Airlines & Fleets
Wood will take over from interim leader Jennifer McNeill, who is returning to her former role as Vice President, Sales, Marketing and Business Development for Airlines and Fleets.
TEMPE, Ariz. – November 9, 2011 – StandardAero announced today it has appointed Jeffrey Wood as Senior Vice President of its Airlines & Fleets business. Airlines and Fleets is the largest of StandardAero’s six business sectors. The other sectors include: Associated Air Center, Business Aviation, Components, Government & Military and Helicopters & Energy.

Wood will take over from interim leader Jennifer McNeill, who is returning to her former role as Vice President, Sales, Marketing and Business Development for Airlines and Fleets.
Wood is a proven aerospace industry executive with more than 24 years experience in senior roles at a variety of companies including General Electric and Pratt & Whitney Commercial Engines and Teleflex. He also served as President of Airfoil Technologies International where he drove significant revenue growth. Most recently, he was a Senior Advisor for Irving Place Capital where he focused on investment opportunities for the firm’s aerospace practice. Wood has managed global supply chains, run global operations and driven several successful merger and acquisition and divestiture programs.
Wood holds a Masters of Business Administration from Harvard Graduate School of Business Management as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in International Economics and Spanish from DePauw University. He also studied at Universidad de Barcelona and is fluent in Spanish. He is a graduate of the General Electric Financial Management program and has served on the Board of Governors for the Aerospace Industries Association.
