- The Chicago - Monterrey, México route begins operations with fares starting at US$ 125, full price

MONTERREY, Mexico, Oct. 14, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- VivaAerobus, Mexico's ultra low cost carrier, extends their offering to the US market with a new route connecting the cities of Chicago and Monterrey, Mexico.

Operations for the new international route begin today and booking is available at the lowest prices in the market, starting at US$ 125 full price.

Travelers will have a direct flight from Chicago's Midway Airport to the city of Monterrey in Mexico and vice versa.

The new VivaAerobus international route will initially fly twice a week, and will later be extended to three times a week during the high seasons. Flight itineraries are available online at www.vivaaerobus.com

With the kick-off of the new route, VivaAerobus now offers six international destinations departing from Monterrey and to cities in the United States.

This route is uniquely important, given the significant economic, cultural, and leisure exchange opportunities that exist between these markets, both vital locations for the economies of both countries.
