SkyWest Airlines Presents Katrina Victims With Relief of More Than $202,000

ST. GEORGE, Utah, Dec. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- SkyWest Airlines, wholly owned subsidiary of SkyWest Inc. (Nasdaq: SKYW) is humbled to present Hurricane Katrina relief to employees of its sister carrier, Atlantic Southeast Airlines (ASA), on December 14, 2005 in Gulfport, Mississippi.

The relief package totals more than $202,000. The amount reflects a 100 percent SkyWest Airlines match of donated employee paid time off hours and monetary donations. The relief will assist nearly forty ASA families.

All 33 employees of the ASA Gulfport station were deeply affected by Katrina, some losing virtually everything. Six other ASA employees living in the Gulf coast region were similarly impacted.

With corporate representatives from both tiers of the SkyWest Inc. alliance, Necia Clark-Mantle will present SkyWest Inc. relief funds totaling more than $218,000. The official presentation will be December 14 at 10:00 a.m. at the Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport.
