Aviapartner proudly announces that it will extend its warehouse capacity in Frankfurt South by building a new facility of 3.000 m². Aviapartner Cargo is hereby increasing its capacity by some 30.000 tons/year. The building is planned to become fully operational by May 01, 2007. Aviapartner Cargo will invest in excess of 2 Million euros.
The warehouse will be located between the existing warehouses in buildings 543 and 545 and will be composed of truck dock stations fit to handle all kinds of vans, small trucks, heavy trucks and jumbo trailers, with the aim of continuing to ensure fast turnaround times for delivery trucks. Our equipment, IT systems and our highly trained staff enable us to offer the complete range of cargo-handling services in Frankfurt for all types of cargo, including bulk cargo, ULD cargo, and special cargo in the same high quality level our customers are used to. The warehouse will be fully secured with access control, fencing, and camera surveillance.
Luc Arnouts, Cargo Chief Operating Officer at Aviapartner: “"e are extremely happy with this expansion of our Frankfurt cargo facilities, for which we had been waiting for a long time. This stronger presence in Frankfurt, a major European cargo hub, gives us the possibility to offer our customers an enhanced multi-station full cargo-handling product. We are working hard to make our cargo-handling network increasingly attractive for our cargo airline customers, with a presence in major hubs like Paris-CDG, Brussels, Munich, Amsterdam, and Frankfurt and in dedicated cargo hubs like Ostend, Hahn, and Liège."
Christian Roigk, Aviapartner Cargo General Manager in Germany: "This extension of our warehouse enables us to provide an even better service to our existing customers and to show them the commitment of our organization to support their successful growth. At the same time we demonstrate our ability to add the necessary capacity to attract new airlines, GSA’s and forwarders in our portfolio."
