Beginning today, Etihad Airways the national airline of the United Arab Emirates will open for business at New York's JFK International Airport. The only other location the airline currently flies into in North America is Canada. Ensuring its success at JFK through the handling of its security ground operations will be Global Security Associates, LLC, the New York-based full-service security company. Global Security Associates is one of the worlds leading providers of aviation security services and has won the contract to provide security for Etihad Airways at JFK International Airport.
Global Security Associates will work closely with Etihad Airways' aviation security department and their JFK management team to provide a number of specialist functions including:

- Baggage Security
- Premier Customer Assistance
