Aviapartner, Europe's leading independent ground handler, is proud to announce that it has obtained an extension of its handling licence at Liège Airport, for a period of 4 years (starting 1 November 2006). The concession is in two parts: the ramp licence for passenger flight (including the baggage sorting area) and the licence for cargo flights.

Aviapartner Liège currently serves charter airlines such as Thomas Cook Airlines and Jetairfly, Pegasus, Tunisair, Sunexpress, Nouvelair Tunisie, LTE, Futura, Iberworld or Spanair and it also handles diversion flights for Ryanair, easyJet, etc.

Services provided to these airlines include passenger services (check-in, boarding assistance and lost & found) and aircraft handling (loading and unloading of baggage, cargo and mail, stairs, cleaning, water & toilet services, ground power, pushback and towing) as well as operations (weight & balance, load-sheet). Aviapartner Liège also provides handling services for general aviation.

The main customer for cargo warehousing services is Night Express, with their daily courier operation, for which Aviapartner Liège also provides ramp handling services. On top of that, Aviapartner Liège has been providing ramp handling services for many years to companies like Polar Air Cargo, Evergreen, MK Airlines, or Tesis Aviation for their full freighter flights, operated with wide body aircraft like B747.

Aviapartner has been providing aircraft handling services at Liège Airport since 1965. Liège is one of the four Belgian airports where Aviapartner provides handling services, alongside Brussels, Ostend and Antwerp, and one of the 32 airports of Aviapartner’s European network.
