ExpressJet Signs with Delta

March 2, 2007
ExpressJet will fly 10 of its Embraer regional jets in the Delta Connection program on a two-year contract.

HOUSTON (AP) - ExpressJet Holdings, which operates regional flights for Continental Airlines Inc., said Thursday it signed a two-year capacity purchase agreement with Delta Air Lines Inc.

Delta will be responsible for scheduling, marketing, pricing and revenue management of 10 aircraft that will go into service in June. ExpressJet will receive a base rate for each completed block hour and departure and reimbursed for certain passthrough costs.

ExpressJet may earn incentives for meeting or exceeding certain performance targets, and maintaining high Department of Transportation rankings for arrivals and customer satisfaction.

ExpressJet shares fell 12 cents to $7.11 in morning trading on the Nasdaq Stock Market.
