Peter Stearn, vice president of Fortbrand Services, Inc., passed the exam to become designated as a Certified Member of the American Association of Airport Executives. The CM designation requires study and mastering of a curriculum in 15 subject areas of airport operations and management.
The CM designation is the highest level of achievement available from the AAAE that can be obtained by non airport management personnel. According to Alan Stearn, Fortbrand's executive vice president, Peter is one of very few non airport people to receive the CM designation. Only airport management personnel are eligible to become Accredited Airport Executives (A.A.E.) and they must pass the same exam.
