Menzies Contracted for Ground Handling for Singapore's First All-Cargo Airline
Contract includes ramp and cargo handling
Menzies Aviation announces a contract award at Manchester International Airport. Jett8 Airlines Cargo, Singapore’s first all cargo airline, operates scheduled and charter services across many routes. With its introduction of a fleet of pure freighter aircraft, valuable cargo, perishable foodstuff, live animals and time-sensitive commodities are transported on their worldwide network.
Jett8, a privately owned airline with a strategic alliance partnership with Nippon Cargo Airlines and NYK Line, will operate 2 flights a week into Manchester originating from Singapore and routing via Luxemburg and Dubai. The operation starts in Manchester on 30th June 2007. The contract includes: o Ramp handling for the freighter o Cargo handling at Manchester, Heathrow and regional airports throughout UK & Ireland o Landside trucking throughout UK & Ireland
