Menzies Aviation wins 10 Licences in South Africa

The licences take effect March 1, 2008.

Menzies Aviation plc announces it has been awarded ramp licences for 10 airports in South Africa by Airports Company South Africa (ACSA). The licences are effective starting March 1, 2008 and includes operations at:

  • Johannesburg O.R. Tambo International
  • Cape Town International
  • Durban International
  • Bloemfontein
  • East London
  • George
  • Kimberley
  • Port Elizabeth
  • Pilanesberg
  • Upington

This allows the company to further extend operations in the region where it plans to soon open its first office in South Africa. “We are delighted to have been a successful bidder in such a prestigious tender.
