Air France Appoints Goldair Handling as its Handler in Athens

The agreement includes ramp and passenger services for flights of Air France and the subsidiary carriers Regional, Britair and CityJet.

Air France and Goldair Handling have signed a long term agreement for the provision of ground handling services in Greece. The agreement refers to ramp and passenger services to flights of Air France and the subsidiary carriers Regional, Britair and CityJet. Air France operates three to six daily flights on CDG-ATH-CDG route.

Goldair Handling, with 910 employees and total investments of 40 Million Euros in facilities and equipment, is the first company in Greece which received licence for the provision of passenger and full aircraft handling services. Currently operates at 5 major Greek airport: in Athens (ATH), Thessaloniki (SKG), Heraklion (HER), Corfu (CFU) and Rhodes (RHO).

In 2007 there has been significant increase of flights and passengers served at all stations as well as cargo that was handled by the cargo facilities.
