Menzies Aviation wins Air China Contract at Manchester
Menzies will supply ramp handling at Manchester together with cargo handling at Manchester and in the regions.
Menzies Aviation announces its latest contract win at Manchester International Airport. Air China, which operates to more than 250 domestic and international destinations, commenced operations to Manchester on September 1, and has awarded a three-year contract for ramp and cargo handling to Menzies Aviation. It is a three times weekly service using B747 freighters originating from Shanghai and touching down in Manchester via Beijing and Copenhagen before returning toShanghai Pudong.
Menzies will supply ramp handling at Manchester together with cargo handling at Manchester and in the regions. “I am delighted to have been chosen by Air China to handle their new service to the UK,” said John Redmond, Menzies director of the UK and Ireland. “Menzies Aviation is looking forward to working in partnership with Air China to ensure this new operation is a great success for all concerned.”
