eTug LLC today announced that Integrated Airline Services (IAS), headquartered in Denver, has received an eTug in San Diego for testing purposes. With fuel prices and the environment high on the list of concerns, IAS expects the eTug to perform well and directly address these issues. Additionally, reducing costs and improving cash flow would add to the Denver-based handling company’s competitiveness.
The eTug presents many new ideas in electric tugs, but mainly it's the rear inching switch (included in the price) and the convenience of charging with a 110v plug. Should any eTugs be purchased, California would likely be the first destinations.
