Menzies Aviation Expands US Operations with jetBlue

The company will provide ground handling, cargo handling and deicing contracts for jetBlue Airways in Chicago O'Hare International Airport.

Menzies Aviation is pleased to announce the award of the ground handling, cargo handling, and deicing contracts for jetBlue Airways in Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD) commencing on Oct. 15, 2008. The award of the ground handling and deicing contracts will make jetBlue our launch customer for ground handling operations in Chicago and will complement our extensive cargo operations at the airport.

jetBlue serves over 53 destinations in the United States and six Caribbean nations. jetBlue serves three destinations from Chicago with six daily departures.

Menzies Aviation currently provides handling for jetBlue in the US at San Francisco, San Jose, Austin, and Seattle as well as St Maarten, Puerto Plata, and Santo Domingo in the Caribbean. The airline was recently named Best US Airline for the sixth year running.
