Boise, Idaho, Jan. 12, 2009 — AERO Specialties has provided Signature Flight Support with a wide variety of ground support equipment for the presidential inauguration and the Super Bowl. AERO designed and built a special “Towbar Trolley” for the occasion, which allows a complete set of towbars and heads to be easily and quickly moved from one location to another.

The Towbar Trolley — constructed on AERO’s RJ2-Series galvanized trailer — holds two multi-head and two universal towbars, and a set of aircraft attachment heads that can move every business jet that Signature Flight might see at its Dulles, Virginia, and Tampa, Florida, FBOs.

In addition to the Towbar Trolley, AERO equipment going to Dulles and Tampa includes:

• AERO Specialties’ LC60-RJ Lavatory Service Cart

• AERO Specialties’ WC60-RJ Potable Water Cart

• Eagle TT-8D all wheel drive aircraft tractor*

• TLD 4060-T-CUP-28 400Hz/60kva + 28VDC diesel-powered GPU*

*AERO Specialties is the exclusive general aviation distributor in the United States for TLD ground power and Eagle Tugs. The TLD 4060-Series GPUs are new products in the U.S. general aviation market, providing a serious competitor to Hobart’s Jet Ex and 60kVA GPUs. Eagle Tugs recently upgraded the diesel powerplants for its popular tugs to a Tier IV Yanmar engine with digital controls. Eagle is the tug of choice for Signature’s fuel-fired aircraft tractors. Steve Minier, senior director of technical services for Signature Flight Support, requested support from AERO for the inauguration and Super Bowl.

The total value of the equipment package AERO is providing to Signature is about $150,000.
