Brussels — Feb. 19, 2009: Aviapartner announced the signature of two new handling contracts with Malev Hungarian Airlines and Aegean Airlines for Brussels.

Since Feb. 16, Aviapartner has been handling Malev’s 14 weekly flights in Brussels, mostly operated with B737 aircraft. The contract covers full handling services which include passenger services (check-in, boarding assistance, baggage tracing services, ticketing), aircraft handling (loading and unloading of baggage and freight, ground power, cleaning, water and sanitary services, freight and baggage transfer, headset, pushback and towing), and traffic operations (flight documentation, communication, crew briefing and flight supervision).

As of the summer of 2009, Aviapartner will handle Aegean Airlines’ daily flight in Brussels, operated with 150-seater aircraft. The contract also covers full handling services.

Laurent Levaux, Aviapartner CEO: “These new contracts are a ray of sunshine in the middle of a difficult economic context. We thank Malev Hungarian Airlines and Aegean Airlines for their trust. We are already cooperating with both airlines in other European airports and these new contracts in Brussels reward the excellent work our teams have performed there.”
