Brussels -- March 16, 2009: Aviapartner Handling proudly announces the finalization of three new handling contracts with Malaysia Airlines, Turkuaz Airlines and Onur Air in Amsterdam-Schiphol.

Since March 1 2009, Aviapartner Handling has been handling Malaysia Airlines’ daily flight in Amsterdam, operated with B747 or B777 aircraft. The contract covers full handling services, which include passenger services (check-in, boarding assistance, baggage tracing services), aircraft handling (loading and unloading of baggage, ground power, cleaning, water and sanitary services, baggage transfer to terminal, headset, pushback and towing), and traffic operations (flight documentation, communication, crew briefing, and flight supervision). Malaysia Airlines already is Aviapartner’s customer in Amsterdam for cargo handling services.

Since March 1, 2009, Aviapartner Handling has also been handling Turkuaz Airlines’ six flights per week in Amsterdam (this will be 14 flights per week as from May 1, 2009), operated with A320/A321 aircraft. The contract also covers full handling services (see above). Turkuaz Airlines is a new airline for Amsterdam-Schiphol.

As from March 31, 2009, Aviapartner Handling will handle Onur Air’s 500 flights planned for the 2009 summer season, operated with A320/A321 aircraft. The contract also covers full handling services (see above).

Karel Bekaert, group operations director handling: “These three new contracts are very welcome in Amsterdam-Schiphol, where they significantly reinforce our customer base, and also, of course in the context of the overall difficult economic context the aviation sector is going through. We are grateful to Malaysia Airlines, Turkuaz Airlines, and Onur Air to entrust us with the handling of their flights in Amsterdam.”
