May 4, 2009 — "Airport Terminal Services is excited to introduce eTug’s electric tow tractors into our fleet in the U.S. and look forward to the reduced operating cost associated with these units. We were able to do a long term demo with one of the units and were very pleased with the results," stated Bob Fleschert, ATS manager of maintenance and ground support equipment.
The eTugs entered service at John Wayne Airport in Orange County, Calif.
Airport Terminal Services is headquartered in St. Louis.
