CHICAGO, April 28, 2010 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ --JBT Corporation (NYSE: JBT)announced that its JBT AeroTech business has been awarded a $10.5 million contract to supply gate equipment for the new Terminal 3, currently under construction, at McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas, Nevada. The contract, placed by the Clark County Department of Aviation, includes the supply of 18 new Jetway(R) passenger boarding bridges and Jetpower(R) ground power units.

The nearly 2 million-square-foot Terminal 3 at McCarran International Airport will enable all of the airport's international traffic to be shifted to six dedicated international gates within this new terminal. The other gates in Terminal 3 will be used to support domestic traffic. Four of the terminal's gates will be configured with dual Jetway(R) passenger boarding bridges, providing the airport with the additional capability of servicing large aircraft.

"We are very pleased with our long-term relationship with the Clark County Department of Aviation and the confidence they continue to display in JBT AeroTech's leading gate technology," said John Lee, Vice President and Division Manager, JBT AeroTech. "With this contract, every passenger transiting through McCarran International Airport will either arrive or depart through JBT manufactured Jetway(R) passenger boarding bridges."

JBT AeroTech anticipates completing its manufacturing portion of the project by the end of the first quarter in 2011, prior to the concourse's scheduled completion in mid-2012.
