ASIG Renews Luggage Logistics Contract for Multiple Resorts and Hotels in Orlando

Under the terms of the agreement, ASIG provides luggage delivery services for passengers arriving and departing through Orlando International Airport.

Orlando … ASIG® announced that it has signed a 5-year renewal to provide 20 area resorts and hotels and 2 cruise ships with luggage logistics transportation services. Under the terms of the agreement, ASIG provides luggage delivery services for passengers arriving and departing through Orlando International Airport (MCO). ASIG transports over 9,000 pieces of luggage daily to and from the airport, enhancing and simplifying the travel experience for the end customer. To provide these services, ASIG employs 250 people that are responsible for offloading and loading aircraft, baggage sorting and trucking services.

Keith P. Ryan, ASIG president, commenting on the renewal, said, “We are very pleased to renew this contract that not only provides a unique service to the area’s resorts, but also supports the local travel industry and economy. With this type of service ASIG has been able to push beyond the normal boundaries of the airport environment to offer our expertise in transportation logistics to non-traditional customers. This has been a very successful extension of our existing business model.”
