Alaska Airlines, a part of Alaska Air Group Inc (NYSE: ALK), a US-based holding company, has announced operational results for August 2010.
The airline has reported a 10% increase in traffic and a 7.1% increase in capacity, which has led to a 2.2% increase in load factor to 86.5% in August 2010 compared to August 2009.
The airline has also reported 88.7% of its flights arrived on time in August 2010, compared to 85.7% reported in August 2009.
