Two More Airlines Begin Service at the Detroit, Mich. Metro. Airport

Passengers wait in line at the Smith Terminal at Detroit Metropolitan Airport on Thursday, May 5, 2005, in Romulus, Mich. Two airlines, Frontier and Air France, are starting new service from the airport with routes competing directly with Northwest Airlines, the dominant passenger air carrier at the airport and in Michigan.
