SIERRA VISTA, Ariz. (AP) -- The Transportation Security Administration was scheduled to start screening passengers and luggage for commercial flights departing from the Sierra Vista Municipal Airport on Sunday.

''We never had to screen before,'' said Mike Hemesath, city public works director who oversees the airport. ''But the air industry has really changed, post-9/11.''

Screening at the airport is in the best interest of the security of Fort Huachuca and the international border, Sierra Vista Airport Commission Chairman Jim Hanke said.
