Olympic Flight to NY Forced to Return to Athens After Bird Sucked Into Engine

ATHENS, Greece (AP) -- An Olympic Airlines flight bound for New York made an emergency landing at Athens International Airport Friday after a bird was sucked into its engine shortly after takeoff, officials said.

Flight 0A 411 left Athens at 12:45 p.m. (0945 GMT), carrying 245 passengers and 12 crew.
