Security Screening to Begin at Kapalua Airport

KAPALUA, Hawaii (AP) -- The federal Transportation Security Administration begins screening certain passengers and baggage Tuesday at Kapalua-West Maui Airport.

To meet federal security standards, the airport must screen commercial scheduled service involving aircraft with 19 or more passenger seats.

Smaller commercial flights will not need to undergo the screening _ which can add an extra 10 to 15 minutes onto passengers' schedules.
