MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) -- The Federal Bureau of Investigation said a suspicious package left on an airplane at Manchester Airport contained cocaine.

Airport spokesman Brian O'Neill said a cleaning crew found the package early Friday morning in the bathroom of a US Airways plane which had arrived from Philadelphia. No passengers were on board at the time.

The state police bomb squad and a hazardous materials team tested the package before it was sent to a federal laboratory, where the contents were identified as narcotics.

The plane was searched by several agencies after the package was removed. O'Neill said the plane was put back in service around 4 p.m. Friday. Federal officials continue to investigate where the drugs may have come from.
