Gulfport-Biloxi Airport Back, But Carriers Plan Fewer Flights

Ten days after Hurricane Katrina caused at least $40 million in damages to the airport, flights resumed with two flights by Northwest Airlines.

"We will come back stronger than ever," Spirito said. "We want to make sure that this is a key economic tool for the state of Mississippi Gulf coast."
