Fort Lauderdale Airport Reports Slightly Increased Traffic
Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport on Monday reported a 1.6 percent increase in August traffic to 1.8 million passengers, compared to the same month of 2004.
Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport on Monday reported a 1.6 percent increase in August traffic to 1.8 million passengers, compared to the same month of 2004.
Domestic passenger traffic fell by 0.6 percent to 1.6 million, while international volume rose 24.5 percent to 187,145 passengers.
Year-to-date, the airport's passenger traffic is up 11.3 percent to 15.9 million.
Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood said total cargo fell 6.1 percent in August to 12,045.3 metric tons.
