Low-cost airline carrier JetBlue Airways Corp. will offer two daily nonstop flights between Bermuda and New York, the company said.
Flights begin May 4 to the British territory in the Atlantic Ocean. One-way fares start at US$129 (euro107), the New York-based airline said in a statement.
The two-hour flights from New York's Kennedy International Airport will cut costs and travel time for tourists heading to Bermuda, known for its pink sand beaches, Tourism Minister Ewart F. Brown said in the statement issued Thursday.
JetBlue's other international destinations include the Bahamas, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic.
