Offutt Air Force Base officials have finalized a lease to operate out of the Lincoln Airport while the base runways are being repaired.

The Air Force signed a oneyear lease for about $195,000 to use a hangar at the airport, John Wood, executive director of the Lincoln Airport Authority, said Tuesday. About 20 aircraft will relocate to Lincoln from about April through October.

Including the cost to relocate, the runway repair project should total about $19 million, Offutt officials said.
