Two Aircraft Make Emergency Landings in Kansas
There were no injuries as a result of either incident.

Emergency landings were made on Tuesday (1 August) by two aircraft that were both flying from New York to San Francisco.
A United Airlines Boeing 757 carrying 131 people landed at Kansas City International Airport after reports of smoke in the cockpit were made by the pilot, The Associated Press reported.
In addition a Delta Air Lines Boeing 737 flight carrying 119 passengers and crew landed a few minutes later at Mid-Continent Airport in Wichita, Kansas, after reporting engine failure.
There were no injuries as a result of either incident.
