Sabre Holdings and AA Form New Five-Year Agreement

American Airlines and Sabre Holdings, a provider of distribution and technology solutions for the travel industry, have agreed terms on a new five-year distribution agreement.

The two companies said that the agreement establishes Sabre Travel Network's Efficient Access Solution as a competitive distribution channel for American Airlines ticket sales.

American Airlines becomes one of Sabre's Efficient Access Solution carriers, giving travel agencies who participate in the programme the option to shop, price and book travel on American Airlines without incurring a booking source premium charge.

The agreement provides for full American Airlines content in the Sabre GDS's Efficient Access Solution programme with no booking source premium charged by the airline for agencies participating in the programme.
