The flight attendants are protesting against what they see as stagnant wages, as well as slow contract negotiations and the airline management's negotiating stance.

Flight attendants at US Airways, represented by the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA (AFA-CWA), will picket seven airports across the country on Halloween, 31 October 2006.

The flight attendants are protesting against what they see as stagnant wages, as well as slow contract negotiations and the airline management's negotiating stance.

The union said that negotiations to combine both union contracts started in February 2006.

Picketing times and airport locations will be released in the coming weeks, pending airport authority permit approvals, and will be contained in future press releases.
