Snoop Dogg carried the baton in his laptop case through security.

Rapper Snoop Dogg, whose real name is Calvin Broadus, was allegedly discovered with a 21-inch collapsable baton in his hand luggage as he was trying to board a flight for New York at the John Wayne International Airport on 27 September.
United States prosecutors are considering charges against the rapper, the authorities said yesterday (23 October).
Snoop Dogg carried the baton in his laptop case through security, The Associated Press reported. He apparently said it was a prop for a movie he was filming in New York.
