New Airline Opens with Discount Flights to Vegas

Mesa Air Group announced on Thursday an introductory fare sale for Merced and Visalia. The new service will start on Nov. 19 and travel will be offered at $79 one-way to and from Las Vegas.
Tickets must be purchased by Nov. 19, with travel from Nov. 19 through Jan. 31, 2007. Some blackout dates apply and seats are limited.
Tickets can be purchased through US Airways by logging onto its Web site at , or by calling 1-800-235-9292.
Mesa is replacing Scenic Airlines in providing daily service between Merced and Las Vegas. It will fly directly into McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas from Merced Municipal Airport, with some flights stopping in Visalia.
