Southwest Airlines announces details of new San Francisco services

Southwest Airlines (NYSE: LUV) has announced fares and flights for its new services to and from San Francisco International Airport, which is scheduled to start on 26 August 2007.

Southwest will launch at San Francisco with 18 daily nonstop departures and the airline will occupy two gates in Terminal 1.

Flights will operate from San Francisco to Chicago Midway (three daily), San Diego (eight daily) and Las Vegas (seven daily).

Southwest's three Bay Area airports, San Francisco, Oakland and San Jose, will offer 21-day advance fares priced from USD39 one-way to San Diego, USD59 one-way to Las Vegas and USD99 one-way to Chicago Midway.
