American Airlines to launch JFK-St. Lucia service

Service begins in November

American Airlines is to add direct service from New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport to St. Lucia in the Caribbean. The airline said that the new service will be the direct service currently scheduled between New York and St. Lucia, which is located northwest of Barbados. The route will be operated three times weekly beginning from 15 November 2007 to St. Lucia's Hewanorra International Airport. The new service will be using Boeing 757 aircraft.
