One person was flown by emergency helicopter to a Pittsburgh hospital after an airplane hit a parked vehicle at the Joseph Hardy Connellsville Airport in Fayette County.
Rescue crews had to extricate the pilot from the craft when it struck the vehicle around 11:55 a.m. The small aircraft was taxiing when it hit a parked pickup truck, said emergency dispatchers. It was unknown if the pilot suffered a medical emergency.
Firemen were called to the Dunbar Township airport to clean up an undetermined amount of fuel from the plane.
