Passenger charges at Dublin Airport are to remain unchanged for the next two years, the aviation regulator has ruled.
The decision comes despite calls for an increase from the Dublin Airport Authority, to help it fund a new second terminal at the airport.
The regulator said an increase from the current E6.34 per passenger is not needed due to larger passenger growth than expected at the airport.
However, charges are likely to be increased after 2009. A final decision on today's draft ruling will not be known until later in the year.
