AirTran celebrates new routes to Las Vegas

AirTran Airways (NYSE: AAI) has said that to celebrate its seven new routes to McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas the carrier will send one customer and seven of his or her friends to Las Vegas, where they will stay at The Palms Casino Resort.

To enter for a chance to win the Las Vegas trip customers must belong to AirTran Airways' frequent flyer programme, A+ Rewards. The contest will be hosted on http://www.airtran.com/lucky7 until 7 July.

AirTran also said that, in addition to direct service from Atlanta, the airline is introducing direct service between Las Vegas and James M. Cox Dayton International Airport in Dayton, Ohio; Akron Canton Airport in Akron, Ohio; Flint/Bishop International Airport in Flint, Michigan; Greater Rochester International Airport in Rochester, N.Y.; General Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Central Illinois Regional Airport at Bloomington-Normal, Illinois; and Quad City International Airport in Moline, Illinois.
