The US Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has selected Trinity Technology Group Inc as the private screening contractor for Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport under the Screening Partnership Program (SPP).

The airport reportedly applied to the SPP programme last autumn. The contract covers security screening services for both passenger checkpoint and checked baggage operations, and the total contract award value, including options, is approximately USD5,178,304.

The total period of performance covered by the contract is four years and three months, beginning on 22 June 2007 and ending on 30 September 2011 (if all options are exercised).

Under SPP the federal security director at Oakland International Airport will remain responsible for overseeing TSA security standards and contractor performance at Schulz-Sonoma.
