American Eagle, the regional affiliate of American Airlines, will begin a nonstop service between Miami International Airport and Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport on 13 December.

American Eagle will operate one daily round trip between the two cities, using its 64-seat ATR72 turbo-prop aircraft. "We are glad to be able to connect these two beautiful cities," said Ed Criner, President of Executive Airlines, which flies as American Eagle in Florida, the Caribbean, and the Bahamas. "With the addition of the Miami service, American Eagle will serve Savannah from two of our hubs, Miami and Dallas/Fort Worth."
