Federal airport officials on Monday seized 20 kilograms of cocaine at O'Hare International Airport in the checked luggage of two El Salvadoran citizens, authorities said.

Officials found the cocaine wrapped in plastic bags and stuffed inside the hollow frames of four metal vehicle tow bars, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

The cocaine, which is valued at $400,000, was found in checked luggage aboard a TACA Airlines flight from Guatemala City, Guatemala. The flight arrived in Chicago at 2:30 a.m. Monday. The drugs were discovered during a routine inspection of baggage and cargo aboard the flight using an X-ray machine.
