Lufthansa and Deutsche Post to create joint cargo carrier

German airline Lufthansa's air freight division and the German mail and logistics group Deutsche Post have applied for approval to set up a joint cargo carrier.
Reuters reported that a spokesman for Deutsche Post's DHL express delivery unit said it planned to expand its cooperation with Lufthansa, while the airline said details would be provided soon.
