Order for 15 Next-Generation 737s announced by Boeing and Aviation Capital Group

An order for 15 additional Next-Generation 737s from aerospace company Boeing (NYSE:BA) has been placed by Aviation Capital Group (ACG), a leasing company.

ACG said the order, which is worth around USD934m at list prices, was posted to the Boeing Orders and Deliveries website recently, attributed to an unidentified customer.

ACG claimed that with the new order it has a total of 64 Boeing aircraft on order, incorporating 59 Next-Generation 737s and five 787 Dreamliners, including 15 Next-Generation 737s for which it acquired delivery positions from Delta Air Lines last year.

According to ACG, its current fleet comprises 141 Boeing aircraft, including Next-Generation 737s, 737 Classics, 757s and 767s.
