Sikorsky Support Services Inc (SSSI), a subsidiary of helicopter manufacturer Sikorsky Aircraft Corp, a unit of United Technologies Corp (NYSE:UTX), announced on Thursday (4 October) the establishment of an aircraft delivery operations group. SSSI said that the company will work closely with Sikorsky and its customers to coordinate convenient delivery of completed aircraft anywhere in the world. The new aircraft delivery operation is expected to provide a one-stop, convenient solution for aircraft delivery requirements. It will have a direct tie back to the OEM, and SSSI's crews will oversee every aspect of the delivery, the company said. The new division will be based in Trumbull, Connecticut, US. This location will reportedly allow close alignment and coordination with the Sikorsky Programme Offices.
