Jeppesen Announces New Leaders for Business Operations; Business and General Aviation
ENGLEWOOD, Colo., Nov. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Jeppesen president and chief executive officer Mark Van Tine has named Brad Thomann senior vice president and chief operating officer. At the same time, he appointed Greg Bowlin to replace Kevin Collins as senior vice president of Business and General Aviation.
Thomann will have overall responsibility for operating Jeppesen's service units, including those charged with developing and delivering navigational data; developing and deploying technology; human resources; quality and business operations; and training services. Thomann presently serves both as senior vice president of training for Jeppesen and chief operating officer for Alteon which, like Jeppesen, is a subsidiary of Boeing Commercial Aviation Services. Alteon will replace Thomann, whose new role at Jeppesen becomes effective January 1, 2008 .
Bowlin will lead the market-facing organization focused on developing and delivering Jeppesen's portfolio of navigation, flight operations, and training solutions to business aircraft operators and general aviation flyers around the world. Bowlin adds these responsibilities to his current role as senior vice president of Rail, Logistics and Terminals. Bowlin's appointment is effective immediately.
Collins, who previously served as senior vice president, Business and General Aviation has left Jeppesen.
