Airport receives perfect safety record

The Dubuque Regional Airport attained its 17th consecutive year with a perfect safety record.
The airport was again in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulation Part 139, which governs safety standards for airfield operations, safety and maintenance at airports served by commercial airlines.
Airport Manager Robert Grierson said, "No other airport in the country had perfect FAR Part 139 safety compliance for a consecutive 17-year period. I credit the airport operations, maintenance at Dubuque Jet Center staff for their attention to detail and safety. This record is an outstanding reflection on the airport and the community as a whole."
