Smithey said the cost of that project will be between $3 million and $4 million, with construction starting in late spring or early summer. Right now, about 35 large commercial airplanes park overnight at Eppley.

Two new destinations seem likely for Eppley are San Diego and Ontario.
The San Bernardino County's Economic Development Agency had worked with ExpressJet for a couple of months to recruit and train the 200 employees the airline will need for its Ontario operations.
United also announced new flights through its United Express regional service between San Antonio and six other cities.
Albuquerque International Sunport confirmed that Express-Jet plans to expand service to the city but said details would not be released until Monday.
