Sikorsky Aerospace Services to Open Support Center for S-76 Helicopters in Abu Dhabi
The facility will be the first S-76 helicopter Customer Support Center in the Middle East.
DUBAI, UAE -- Sikorsky Aerospace Services announces that Falcon Aviation Services will establish a Customer Support Center in Abu Dhabi for S-76 helicopters. The facility will be the first S-76 helicopter Customer Support Center in the Middle East. Sikorsky Aerospace Services is the aftermarket business of Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp.
Last June, Falcon Aviation Services (FAS), a provider of helicopter charter and maintenance services based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE), signed delivery position agreements for four S-76D helicopters with Sikorsky Aircraft for VIP/Corporate transport. The S-76D helicopter is the latest version of the popular S-76 helicopter.
"Sikorsky Aircraft is experiencing significant growth in the Middle East and the establishment of the Falcon Aviation Services Customer Support Center furthers our commitment to customers around the world," says Frank DiPasquale, Vice President, Business Development, Sikorsky Aerospace Services. "The service center will not only allow us to deliver the highest level of support to Falcon Aviation Services, but will also provide support to other S-76 helicopter customers in the region."
